"A garden’s best ideas are never yours."
Founded in 2025 by me, Camilla Robinson Kerr, CRACKLE is an ecologically sensitive garden design studio dedicated to creating naturally balanced relationships between people, plants, and place. I specialise in modern naturalistic, climate friendly design solutions for families, inner city dwellers and coastal locations.
Camilla’s approach to design is grounded in her background in Fine Art and documentary production, where she collaborated with organisations including Tate, BBC Arts, and the British Council. Her transition into horticulture grew from years of community gardening in London, leading her to retrain in the field and gain formal qualifications in Construction Design (London College of Garden Design), Horticulture (RHS Level 2), and Garden Design (Capel Manor College, Levels 1 & 2).
She has worked with designer Miria Harris and contributed to medal-winning planting teams at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2024 and 2025.
In 2022, Camilla founded the Growers Exchange, a knowledge-sharing network for professional gardeners and designers in East Kent. A lifelong collaborator, she maintains close connections with specialist growers, skilled maintenance gardeners, landscape contractors, and innovative thinkers—locally and internationally—who form an evolving part of the CRACKLE team as each project demands.
